Motocross World & British Championship Team STR
Motocross is one of the few professional sports to immerse spectators in the action, allowing them to get within inches of the top riders as they thunder around the demanding motocross circuits and with each major event consisting of at least four races throughout the day the action is almost non stop. When there is a short break in the action this allows the fans to wander freely around the paddock chatting with the teams and their riders and studying the meticulously prepared motocross machines as the mechanics give the bikes their undivided attention.

BIRTHDAY BOOST FOR BARR AS HE TAKES OVERALL AT DESERTMARTIN
Desertmartin in Northern Ireland was the setting for the penultimate round of the Red Bull Pro Nationals this past weekend. For Boost Energy KTM’s Martin Barr, this was a special occasion as Desertmartin is a track he practically grew up with, and he celebrated his birthday on the eve of the race.
For Barr, the day could not have gone any better. Qualifying in first by over two seconds from his team mate Nathan Parker, he then proceeded to dominate the first race from the start with a stunner of a holeshot and after building a substantial lead in the first few laps was able to cruise to victory from Anderson in second and Krestinov in third.

PODIUM NEAR MISS AT HAWKSTONE FOR BOOST ENERGY KTM
Hawkstone is often the place for epic battles, and the fifth round of the Red Bull Pro Nationals this past weekend was no exception. With the championship going into its closing rounds, the push for points becomes more and more important, and for Boost Energy KTM this is especially so with its two riders in prime position to benefit from good results at this challenging location.

MORE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS FOR BOOST ENERGY KTM AT BRITISH GP
Matterley Basin just due east of Winchester hosted the most anticipated event of the British motocross calendar this weekend – The British Motocross Grand Prix. Boost Energy KTM was once again given the opportunity to field both riders, and the team looked forward to making a good impression in front of its fans and sponsors.
Saturday morning’s free practice set a good time for riders Martin Barr and Nathan Parker as they familiarised themselves with the extraordinary circuit. Pre-qualifying practice later in the afternoon set the starting positions for their qualifying race at seventeenth and twenty-fourth. While Barr cemented his position more firmly in the qualifying race late on Saturday, Parker had to make do with twenty-sixth.

PENULTIMATE MAXXIS ROUND CEMENTS CHAMPIONSHIP TOP THREE FOR BOOST ENERGY KTM
Boost Energy KTM travelled to the Scottish Borders at the weekend for the penultimate round of the Maxxis British Motocross Championship at Duns. Although much rain had fallen in the week, which prompted fears of a repeat of the 2009 championship round held there, it turned out to be perfect for the day’s racing.
The team saw its two MX1 riders Martin Barr and Nathan Parker put in two solid qualifying results with a fifth and a seventh, on which Barr was able to improve in the super-pole to go to the line in second.
